Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quid circles away from the clinch attempt.
Santiago shoots in but Quid avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Santiago shoots for a takedown but Quid saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Santiago looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Quid is fending him off so far but Santiago persists. Nope, Quid circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Santiago. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Santiago feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Joe Santiago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Santiago shoots in and drives through. Quid sprawls well.

Quid stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Santiago has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Quid manages to get his head free but now Santiago has transitioned to an armbar! Quid grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Santiago! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
