Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Russel Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Britantica Cadman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Russel Bell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Britantica Cadman!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bell gets the takedown into side control.
Cadman is trying to control Bell's posture but Bell avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bell lands a decent elbow from side control.
Cadman is looking to regain half guard here but Bell keeps moving and retains side control.
Bell just content to control the position.
Cadman tries to buck Bell off but Bell is having none of it.
Cadman is letting Bell control him for a moment.
Cadman is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Cadman manages to get back to half guard.
Bell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cadman on the ground.

Cadman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cadman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Bell counters with a takedown into side control.
Cadman looks gassed!

Bell wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cadman, who protects the arm well.
Bell trying to control the position but Cadman is working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cadman keeps working.

Cadman tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bell wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Bell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cadman drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bell looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bell looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bell!

Cadman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bell defends it well.

Britantica Cadman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cadman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
