The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kicker scores with a leg kick.

Kicker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hansen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hansen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kicker can pounce on him.
Kicker connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kicker lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hansen's sensitive parts.
Hansen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hansen is looking to clinch but Kicker is avoiding it.
Kicker feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hansen's calf.

Kicker feints and then cracks Hansen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hansen down.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Kicker's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Hansen is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Kicker. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Hansen cracks Kicker with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Kicker from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

You can see the frustration on Kicker's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Kicker is trying to get back to his feet but Hansen has full control of the position and if anything, Kicker has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Hansen looks to land a combination but Kicker avoids it well.

Hansen's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kicker working the clinch nicely. Hansen is working for position but Kicker cracks him with a big knee to the head! Hansen crumples up against the cage and Kicker lands two more shots before the ref can save Hansen! This one is all over!
