Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keli Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jason Connor was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

No luck for Beast with that takedown attempt. Beast fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Keli Beast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Beast tries to close the distance and clinch but Connor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Connor blocks a head kick by Beast.
Connor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Connor content just to control the position here. Connor connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Connor is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Beast's half guard. Beast is not content to let Connor control the position. Connor seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Beast tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Connor has advanced to mount. Uh oh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Connor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Beast with a poor takedown and Connor counters by clinching up. Connor tightens his grip and picks Beast up, before dumping him to the ground. Beast manages to land in guard. Beast keeping full guard, as Connor tries to pass. Connor wants to control from the top but Beast keeps moving. Connor gets to his feet - Beast follows without any prompting. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick by Beast misses and Connor counters with a single leg into guard. Beast didn't expect that. Beast is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Connor pushes down on Beast's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jason Connor has got the better of the ground game so far. Connor seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Let's hope that Connor has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Connor is keen to just control but Beast is a slippery customer. Well, if Connor is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Beast manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Beast has his feet on Connor's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Connor throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Beast was covering up waiting for the punch and Connor finishes the takedown easily into guard. Beast striking off his back but it's not causing Connor any problems.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Connor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Connor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
