Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre De Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jocke Hamskog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hamskog is defended easily by De Souza.
Hamskog looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
De Souza gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hamskog holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hamskog is trying to break free.
Hamskog fails to pull guard.
Hamskog tries to score a body lock takedown but De Souza shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Andre De Souza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jocke Hamskog.
De Souza goes for a takedown attempt but Hamskog pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

De Souza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hamskog swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

De Souza passes Hamskog's left leg - he's now in half guard.
De Souza has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Hamskog defend it? De Souza steps over the head and cranks it - Hamskog is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for De Souza!
