Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cid Saturday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think White might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kanye West - Stronger. Cid Saturday is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Cid Saturday!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by White.
White throws a good cross that connects.
White throws a leg kick but Saturday moved away.
White misses with a few strikes there.
Saturday tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but White paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Saturday wants to clinch.
White looks to clinch

and Saturday counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for White!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Saturday has control of White's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and White regains control of the situation pretty easily.
White is squirming around, avoiding Saturday's attempts to control the action.
White might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
White tries to reverse the position but Saturday maintains control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Saturday postures up in White's guard and throws a big left but White blocks it.
Saturday wants to control from the top but White keeps moving.
Saturday controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Saturday wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position.
White is pulling down on Saturday's head to control his posture.
White manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Saturday manages to get himself to full guard.

Saturday is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
White missing with a left hand there. Saturday was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
White defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Saturday.

and Saturday decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in White's guard.
Saturday postures up.

White has an active guard here but Saturday has managed to pass into half guard.
White wants to control but Saturday is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Saturday tries to stand but can't do so whilst White controls his leg.

That was a close round but I would say that Bobby White will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


White misses with a series of wild punches.
Saturday slips a jab and a cross from White.
A telegraphed right hand from White misses the target.
White lands a nice hook to Saturday's body. Saturday takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
White throws a lazy right hand but Saturday sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Saturday scores a takedown into full mount!
Saturday sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
White is trying desperately to improve position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Saturday throwing strikes here but White is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Saturday goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now White is on top in guard.
White wants to control from the top but Saturday keeps moving.
Saturday is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Saturday is looking to stand up but White isn't so interested in that idea.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
White pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Saturday is keeping the position for now.
White wants to control from the top but Saturday keeps moving.
Saturday wants to control the position but White says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
White is just content to waste time from the top position. Saturday takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
White looking to sit in guard and control but Saturday gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Saturday wants to get up but he can't break White's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

White is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Saturday is aware though and is defending well.
White bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Saturday's guard.
Saturday is trying to control the position but White postures up.
White throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Saturday avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
White passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Saturday regains half guard.
Saturday pushes White off looking to stand but White dives back in and keeps control.

White is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Saturday is just riding it out for now. White eventually gives up the hold.
White not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Saturday tries to roll over but White keeps him under control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
White trying to mount his opponent but Saturday defends it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bobby White dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Saturday drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
White can't do much from the bottom here.

Saturday tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

White working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Saturday doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Saturday manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Saturday stands and steps away. White gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Saturday decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in White's guard.

White throws a series of strikes that have Saturday backpedaling.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Saturday tries to score a power double leg takedown but White sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Saturday somewhat.

Bobby White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cid Saturday.

Saturday takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cid Saturday is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Saturday takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Saturday on the wrong end of a nice jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

White clinches up against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by White as Saturday tries to tie him up.
White tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Saturday smiles and moves away.
White fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Saturday looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Saturday moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

White jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Saturday takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.


Saturday is rocked!
Saturday takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts White, as that shot connected.
White cracks Saturday on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Saturday falls backwards against the cage. White follows up with more strikes that drop Saturday to his knees. White keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Saturday! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bobby White!
