Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olaf Slootweg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slootweg comes to the ring accompanied by Lux Atearna. Evans has chosen Shook Ones as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Olaf Slootweg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rashad Evans! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slootweg tries to clinch there but Evans circles away.
Evans swinging wildly here.
Evans fails with a takedown attempt. Evans looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Slootweg! Slootweg is wriggling around trying to escape.
Evans should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Slootweg is working hard here to advance position. Slootweg bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Evans pushes Slootweg off and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Evans looks for the body kick but Slootweg saw that one coming. Evans scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Slootweg wants to control but Evans postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slootweg is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Evans's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Slootweg is trying to maintain the position but Evans is very close to passing his half guard. Slootweg looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Slootweg wants to get back to full guard. Slootweg trying to control but Evans postures up.
Slootweg tries to roll over but Evans keeps him under control. Slootweg is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Evans's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Evans's back!

Evans holding both Slootweg 's hands and preventing any damage. Slootweg has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Evans's body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Slootweg is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Rashad Evans dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Evans misses with a takedown attempt - Slootweg sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Evans looks for the body kick but Slootweg saw that one coming. Slootweg leaves Evans with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Slootweg fails in his attempt to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Evans misses with a jab, cross combination.

Evans changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Slootweg tries to avoid it but Evans manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Slootweg to the ground. Slootweg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Olaf Slootweg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rashad Evans.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slootweg displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Evans. Slootweg gets a takedown into half guard. Slootweg wants to take a breather but Evans is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Slootweg has closed the distance and engaged Evans in a clinch.

Evans can't get the takedown.
Olaf Slootweg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rashad Evans. Evans tries to score a body lock takedown but Slootweg shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Evans is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Slootweg pulls him back up using the underhooks. Slootweg works on Evans's body with a couple of short punches. Evans tries for a takedown. No joy.
Evans takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Slootweg prevents a takedown attempt there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Slootweg with a knee to the head.
It looks like Rashad Evans has been cut. Evans can't get the takedown.
And that's the end of the fight! Olaf Slootweg showed his dominance in that final round. Well Slootweg has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
