Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyeson Ledbetter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Graham Goddard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ledbetter comes to the cage accompanied by Hero by Sevendust. Goddard has chosen Recipe for Bait as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ledbetter is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Goddard goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ledbetter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Goddard tries to avoid it but Ledbetter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Goddard to the ground. Goddard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Goddard tries to clinch up but Ledbetter circles away and keeps his distance.
Goddard throws a front kick aimed at Ledbetter's knee but Ledbetter avoids it well.

Ledbetter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ledbetter lands in his opponent's guard.

Goddard looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ledbetter with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ledbetter darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Horrible takedown by Goddard or perhaps it was just good defense by Ledbetter which made him look bad.

Well Goddard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
