Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Desperado is fending him off so far but Rage persists. Nope, Desperado circles away and we're back to standing.
Rage wants to clinch.
Rage throws a body punch but Desperado moves out of range.
Desperado slaps away a takedown attempt from Rage, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rage throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Desperado's waist but Desperado gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rage off to one side.
Anthony Desperado has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liquid Rage.
Desperado scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Liquid Rage has been cut.
Rage avoids the body shot from Desperado.
Rage is trying hard to land a takedown here. Desperado sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Rage gets the takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Desperado explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Desperado misses with a double jab.
Desperado lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rage gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Desperado struggles to land a body shot inside as Rage controls his hands.
Rage tries for a takedown. No joy.
Desperado scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Rage goes for a takedown attempt but Desperado pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Desperado lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rage looks gassed!

Rage moves into the clinch.
Desperado wants to get back to striking at distance but Rage won't allow it.
Rage goes for a takedown in the clinch but Desperado prevents it.
Desperado is looking to control Rage's arms but Rage gets an underhook and turns him. Now Desperado has his back to the cage.
Rage crunches a lovely knee into Desperado's ribcage.
Rage tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Desperado's elbow.

Rage manages to break the clinch.
Rage throws a head kick but Desperado moves out of range.
Desperado comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Desperado jabs at Rage's body.

Desperado lands a left and a right that send Rage crashing to the mat, dazed. Desperado thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Rage is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Desperado connects with a superb combination that knocks Rage out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Desperado before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Rage!
