Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Homether (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jerry Cho was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Homether!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jerry Cho!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Homether fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cho looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cho lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Homether circles away quickly and effectively.
Homether throws a series of punches but Cho avoids them all with ease.
Cho misses with a straight right.
Cho connects with a good right hand that stumbles Homether. Homether circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A looping hook to the body misses from Homether. Cho does a little dance to reset his feet.
Homether looks to land a left hand but Cho moved out of range nicely.
A jab from Homether misses.
Homether misses with a double jab
and Cho connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Homether takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Homether misses with a jab, cross combination.
A solid body kick from Cho.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Cho.
Cho misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A slow jab from Cho misses its intended target.
A big left from Homether misses.
Homether takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice shot by Homether.
Homether takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Cho connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Alex Homether seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cho throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Homether counters with a series of strikes. Cho will be more careful next time no doubt.
Homether misses with an uppercut.
Cho misses with a series of wild punches.
Homether misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Cho counters with a three punch combo that has Homether backing up. Homether nods at Cho to acknowledge the strikes.
Cho fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Homether scores with a hook.

Cho misses with a looping left.
Cho looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Homether throws a right and a left that Cho avoids nicely.
Homether swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cho counters with a series of strikes. Homether will be more careful next time no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Homether takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Cho counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cho lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

A decent looking cross lands there for Cho.
Homether is rocked!
Homether falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cho counters with a low kick, right behind Homether 's knee.
Oh Homether is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Homether on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Homether misses with a body punch
and Cho counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Homether falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
