Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Monsoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Tweet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Anthony Tweet enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ray Monsoon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Tweet!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monsoon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tweet but Tweet pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Monsoon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tweet is trying to defend but Monsoon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Monsoon throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Tweet regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Monsoon.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Monsoon shoots for a double leg takedown but Tweet sprawls well. He's pushed Monsoon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Horrible takedown by Monsoon or perhaps it was just good defense by Tweet which made him look bad.

Monsoon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Monsoon showed some decent athleticism there.

Monsoon looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tweet with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tweet is trying to maintain the position but Monsoon is very close to passing his half guard.
Monsoon slips a nice elbow through Tweet's hands, connecting with Tweet's forehead.
Monsoon looks to land a strike but Tweet avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Monsoon looking to sit in guard and control but Tweet gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Monsoon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well Tweet has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
