The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
al Din throws a head kick but McCartney moves out of range.
A head kick misses from al Din.
al Din pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
al Din tries to score a power double leg takedown but McCartney sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten al Din somewhat.
McCartney scores with a takedown into al Din's guard.
McCartney postures up in al Din's guard and throws a big left but al Din blocks it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McCartney accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McCartney lands a couple of digs.
McCartney is standing up over al Din. al Din looks to escape but McCartney dives into side control.
McCartney has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for al Din!

A big strike lands for McCartney! That's really hurt al Din and he's turned his back - McCartney keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! McCartney Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
