Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aapo Kassila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chong Li! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aapo Kassila! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kassila rushes Li and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Li is trying to break free. Kassila keeps control of Li as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Li has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kassila uses from the top position. Li tries to strike from the bottom.
Li is trying to control the position but Kassila postures up. Kassila thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kassila wants to get up but he can't break Li's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kassila postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kassila stays in close to Li's body and controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li trying to control the position.
Li wants to stand but Kassila is controlling the position. Kassila really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Some wild striking there from Kassila.
Kassila clinches. Kassila manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Li trying to control the position from guard on top but Kassila is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Li is really struggling to control Kassila but he's trying to hold on to the position. Kassila is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kassila wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kassila wants to stand and escape but Li is having none of it. Li might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Li has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kassila is proving hard to escape from.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kassila rushes Li and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kassila prevents the takedown attempt.
Kassila tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Li is looking to score with low kicks. Li could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Li tries a head kick but it misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kassila displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Li. Li shoots in for a takedown but Kassila shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chong Li. That's going to take a lot out of him. Li is breathing heavily. Kassila avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Kassila fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Li, pushing him back against the cage. Li pulls guard. Li lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kassila!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kassila tries to lock up and control but Li gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Kassila really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kassila is trying to reverse the position but instead Li has taken his back - oops! Li patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Kassila is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kassila trying to control the hands but Li breaks the grip. Li tries to keep control of the position but Kassila is staying busy. Kassila tries to escape the position.
Kassila is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Li.
A lull in the action here.
Kassila wants to control his opponent's hands but Li gets his hands free. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kassila staying busy and making it hard for Li to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Aapo Kassila will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Kassila scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Chong Li is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Li doesn't manage to clinch there - Kassila circles away.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Li is trying to force a seperation but Kassila has the dominant position. Kassila fails to pull guard.
Kassila's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Li throws a wild body kick that Kassila sees coming a mile off. Chong Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kassila tries to clinch but Li moves out of range. Li swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Li tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kassila swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kassila clinches. Kassila tries to pull guard but Li holds him up against the cage and eventually Kassila drops back down to his feet.

Li doesn't manage to clinch there - Kassila circles away.

Li is looking to slow Kassila down with leg kicks. Kassila moves out of range of the leg kick from Li. Kassila moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kassila goes for a takedown attempt but Li pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Chong Li has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aapo Kassila. Li swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Kassila to counter with a crisp jab. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kassila has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kassila tries to pull guard but Li won't allow it.
Li breaks from the clinch.
Aapo Kassila is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Li misses with the combination.
Li circles away from the clinch attempt.

Kassila closes the distance and lands a one-two. Li tries to keep at a distance but Kassila has taken the fight into the clinch. Li breaks from the clinch.
Kassila digs a good hook to Li's body.
Li tries to clinch up and Kassila moves into the clinch. Kassila keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Li's efforts to push away. Li is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kassila fails to pull guard.
Li is looking to break free of the clinch but Kassila has double underhooks. Kassila pulls guard. Kassila wants to sweep but no luck. Li trying to control but Kassila is working from the bottom. Kassila working for submissions but it's allowed Li to get to half guard.
Li prevents Kassila from improving his position. Kassila works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Li wants to control from the top but Kassila keeps moving. Kassila wants to sweep but no luck. Kassila is working an open guard so Li takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Kassila will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Li takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Li throws a series of punches but Kassila avoids them all with ease. Li takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kassila throws a front kick that sends Li stumbling back into the cage. Li lands a high kick!
Kassila scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kassila forces Li back against the cage and clinches. Kassila fails to pull guard.
Li escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kassila displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Kassila rushes Li and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kassila tries to pull guard but Li holds him up against the cage and eventually Kassila drops back down to his feet.
Kassila gets control of Li's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kassila will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Li throws a big right hand that misses. Kassila is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Li decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Li throws a head kick but Kassila moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aapo Kassila showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Li's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Kassila lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Li circles away quickly and effectively. Kassila has managed to clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Li's face as he tries to break the clinch. Li wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kassila unloads a knee to the mid-section. Li lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Kassila is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Kassila drops down looking for an ankle pick but Li pulls his leg out and moves away.
Li with a poor takedown and Kassila holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Kassila is working for takedown but Li is calmly controlling the position for now. Chong Li has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aapo Kassila. Li looking to stall.
Li tries to pull guard but Kassila won't allow it.
Li jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kassila walks away with a smile on his face. Li gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kassila doesn't manage to clinch there - Li circles away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kassila throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Li throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kassila stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Li misses with a low kick.
Kassila moves into the clinch. Kassila jumps guard and drags Li to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Li wants to control from the top but Kassila keeps moving. Kassila is looking for a triangle but Li pushes his legs off easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Li accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Li stands up from guard. Let's bang! Kassila gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Li trying to land knees to the body.
Kassila has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Li is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Kassila as Li tries to tie him up. Li is pressed up against the cage. Kassila has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Li down to the mat. Li avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Li is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kassila throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kassila darts in and clinches Li up against the cage. Kassila throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kassila keeps control of Li as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kassila pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Li is looking to slow Kassila down with leg kicks. Li fails with an attempt to clinch.
Li throws a push kick but Kassila slaps the foot to one side. Kassila takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Li misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kassila tries to bum rush Li with a series of wild strikes but Li uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kassila blocks a head kick by Li.
Li throws a combination that misses and Kassila counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Li tries to clinch but Kassila moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kassila moves into range and clinches up with Li. Kassila keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Li's efforts to push away. Kassila effectively controlling the action here. Kassila pulls Li into guard.
Li won't allow Kassila to sweep him here. Li trying to control the position from guard on top but Kassila is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kassila is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Li defends well. Li throws a big right hand that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Li slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Li stands up and beckons Kassila to his feet. A decent looking body kick lands there for Li. Kassila has closed the distance and engaged Li in a clinch.
Li manages to pull guard.
Kassila cracks Li with a solid left hand. Kassila trying to control the position from guard on top but Li is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chong Li has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Li is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kassila is aware though and is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! Aapo Kassila comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kassila winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
