Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolfe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wolfe swings for the body but Astyages moves out of range.
Astyages shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wolfe napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Astyages tries to advance to mount but Wolfe denies him.
Astyages is looking to take a break and control but Wolfe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Astyages is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wolfe knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Astyages moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Wolfe has worked his arm free - good work by Wolfe!
Wolfe wants to get back to his feet but Astyages drags him back down.
Astyages controls the position.
Wolfe can't do much from the bottom here.
Astyages wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wolfe keeps working.

Wolfe is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Astyages closes the distance and clinches up with Wolfe, looking for a takedown. Astyages pushes Wolfe against the cage but Wolfe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Alistar Astyages seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Astyages lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Wolfe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Astyages was well out of range. Poor timing from Wolfe.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Alistar Astyages showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Alistar Astyages comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Astyages has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
