Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wally Wild Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Petzel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wally Wild Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexander Petzel! The judges for this bout are , and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Wild Man does no damage. Wild Man throws a series of punches but Petzel moves out of range. Petzel slips under a jab. Wild Man walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Petzel checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Wild Man fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wild Man rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Petzel moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Petzel moves out of range of the body kick from Wild Man.
Wild Man throws a wild combination but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some bone on bone action there as Petzel checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Wild Man misses with a looping right. Wild Man misses with a few strikes there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wild Man misses with the combination.
Wild Man throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wild Man throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Petzel avoids a punch combination nicely.

Wild Man throws a right and a left that Petzel avoids nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Petzel doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Wild Man rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Petzel moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wild Man throws a series of punches but Petzel moves out of range. Petzel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wild Man is looking to stand up but Petzel isn't so interested in that idea. Petzel controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Petzel won't allow Wild Man to get back to his feet. Petzel stays in close to Wild Man's body and controls the position. Petzel wants to pass the guard but Wild Man is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petzel is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wild Man being controlled here, momentarily. Petzel postures up in Wild Man's guard and throws a big left but Wild Man blocks it. Wild Man can't keep his opponent in guard - Petzel advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Wild Man is breathing heavily. Petzel trying to control the action but Wild Man is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wild Man looks like he's trying to stand up.
Petzel controlling the pace. Petzel prevents Wild Man from standing back up.
Petzel wants to pass to mount but Wild Man is defending the position. Petzel is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Petzel is taking a breather. Wild Man says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Petzel dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Petzel darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Petzel wants to control but Wild Man is keeping him busy. Wild Man is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Petzel has just dragged him back down to the mat. Petzel happy to just control the position for now. Wild Man is trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Petzel is working to tighten is grip on Wild Man's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Wild Man has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Petzel is really squeezing tight and eventually Wild Man passes out! Petzel breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
