Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between True Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Light will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, True Warrior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bobby Light! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jorge Garcia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warrior feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Light trying to keep a closed guard but Warrior is proving a slippery customer.
Light wants to sweep here but Warrior controlling him for the moment. Light is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Warrior throws a big right hand that misses. Light is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Warrior is aware though and is defending well. Light looking to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Light with a poor takedown and Warrior counters with a nice double leg into guard. Light avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Warrior has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Light manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Warrior bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Warrior wants to control from the top but Light keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warrior is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Light is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Light wants to sweep here but Warrior controlling him for the moment. Warrior connects with a couple of short punches. Light looking to control.
Light looking to hit a scissor sweep but Warrior is one step ahead there. Warrior working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Warrior preventing the sweep. Light throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Light keeping moving, preventing Warrior from controlling successfully. Warrior stays in close to Light's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Light pulls Warrior in close to prevent any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Light closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Warrior did well to prevent Light getting side control. Warrior looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Light looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Light trying to mount his opponent but Warrior defends it. Warrior tries to get to full guard but Light has control of the leg. Warrior wants to control but Light is keeping busy.
Warrior has hold of Light's hands but Light slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Light looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Light is keen to just control but Warrior is a slippery customer. Warrior looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Warrior tries to get to full guard but Light has control of the leg. Light wants to take a breather but Warrior is having none of it. Light passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Warrior! Light controlling from mount. Warrior is looking to improve his position but Light isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Light takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Warrior tries to control Light's body but Light pushes him off. Warrior squirms to his side and now Light has his back! A lull in the action here.
Good control from Light. Warrior trying to control the hands but Light won't let him. Warrior staying busy and making it hard for Light to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that True Warrior will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Warrior misses the jab. Light misses with a takedown attempt and Warrior counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Warrior pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Light is keeping the position for now. Warrior throwing strikes but missing. Light working for a triangle but Warrior defends it easily.
Warrior drops back looking for a leg! Light is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Light manages to kick Warrior off! Warrior jumps back into Light's guard. Light is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Warrior has his hands clasped together but Light extends an breaks Warrior's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Light.
