Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Spicey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eugene Mean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Eugene Mean was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Spicey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eugene Mean! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spicey closes the distance and clinches. Mean has Spicey pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Spicey manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Spicey jumps into guard, dragging Mean to the mat.
Mean working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Spicey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mean manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mean is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Spicey is aware though and is defending well. Mean has Spicey pulled in close to control his posture. Spicey stopping the sweep attempt from Mean. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mean escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Spicey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mean tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mean working a defensive guard here.
Mean is controlling Spicey's posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spicey stands up from Mean's guard - Spicey perhaps looking for a knockout. Horrible takedown by Mean or perhaps it was just good defense by Spicey which made him look bad. Mean fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tony Spicey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eugene Mean. Mean shoots in for a takedown but Spicey shows good takedown defense. Spicey clinches with his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spicey gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mean.
Mean jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Spicey walks away with a smile on his face. Mean gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Spicey decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mean is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mean wants to control but Spicey is keeping busy.
Spicey working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Mean's thigh. Mean counters though and makes it back to full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mean escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Spicey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Spicey dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Mean scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Nice strikes from Mean there. Mean scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Mean throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Spicey slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Spicey is trying to control the position but Mean postures up. Spicey working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mean. Mean missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mean is working Spicey over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Spicey utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Mean postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Spicey avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mean makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Mean throws and elbow that misses. Spicey uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mean's guard. Nice move by Spicey! Mean looking for a guillotine here but Spicey defends easily.
Mean manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mean with good strikes from the mount here! Mean scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Mean looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Mean connects with a bit shot that sees Spicey covering up! More strikes from Mean and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Mean is our winner by TKO!
