Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Macario Sakay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rico Bull!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bull swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Sakay changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bull looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Sakay is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bull is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Sakay tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sakay has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sakay tries for a kimura but Bull is defending well.

Bull is pushing Sakay's head away, looking to escape. Sakay manages to hold on to the position though.

Sakay is looking to advance position but Bull won't allow it.

Sakay is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bull doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sakay.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Sakay wants to work for an arm triangle but Bull is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bull desperately trying to maintain half guard.

Sakay is working for a kimura but Bull is defending it quite comfortably.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bull closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sakay to the mat! Sakay manages to get full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Macario Sakay dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Bull moves in looking to clinch but Sakay pushes him off.

and Sakay decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bull's guard.
Sakay throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bull works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Bull tries to clinch up.
Bull misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bull has a takedown stuffed.

Sakay clinches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sakay pulls guard effortlessly.
Bull trying to control the position from guard on top but Sakay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Sakay working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bull doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bull manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sakay wants to stand but Bull is controlling the position.
Sakay avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sakay has his feet on Bull's thighs here. He's pushed Bull off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bull screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
