Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. papu tries to avoid it but Kane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag papu to the ground. papu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
papu throws a jab but it's blocked by Kane.
papu throws a hook but Kane avoids it easily.
papu throws the left hand but Kane avoids the punch easily.
papu throws a lazy right hand but Kane sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kane fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with papu, pushing him back against the cage.
papu swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kane breaks from the clinch.
papu thows a body shot but no joy.
Kane slips a jab from papu.
Kane ducks right into an uppercut from papu.
Kane shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kane showed some decent athleticism there.
papu is trying to stand up here but Kane is controlling him well.
Kane wants to pass the guard but papu is defending well.
papu looks like he's trying to stand up.
papu has one foot on Kane's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Kane shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches papu napping and manages to drive through into side control!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
papu's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

papu wants to get back to his feet but Kane is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Kane won't let papu get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Poor strikes thrown by Kane there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Kane swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and papu is now in Kane's guard. A big mistake from Kane there, giving up the dominant position!
papu thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with papu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
