Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Augusto Pezada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Ziribastow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Augusto Pezada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shawn Ziribastow! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ziribastow slips a jab and a cross from Pezada.
Pezada throws a shot from downtown. Ziribastow moves away and avoids it. Ziribastow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pezada.

Ziribastow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pezada sprawls well. Pezada wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ziribastow gets slowly back to his feet. Pezada takes a swing at Ziribastow's ribcage but misses. Pezada lands a nice shot that snaps Ziribastow's head back.

Ziribastow shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pezada napping and manages to drive through into side control! Pezada is pushing Ziribastow's head away, looking to escape. Ziribastow manages to hold on to the position though. Pezada throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Ziribastow drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ziribastow works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pezada wants to get back to his feet. Ziribastow just content to control the position. Pezada bucks up and tries to throw Ziribastow off but instead Ziribastow has got his back! Ziribastow scores with punches to the body. Pezada is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Ziribastow 's hooks. Pezada is trying to get back to his feet but can't. The referee warns Pezada that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Ziribastow unloading with bombs! Ziribastow sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pezada really wants to buck Ziribastow off and get back to his feet. Ziribastow lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Pezada is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Ziribastow in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Ziribastow cracks Pezada with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Pezada is bucking up trying to escape but Ziribastow cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Pezada blocking the ground and pound. BOOM! Ziribastow connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Ziribastow not landing any meaningful shots this time. Pezada is trying to stand up here but Ziribastow is controlling him well. Ziribastow is trying to control. Pezada wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ziribastow uses his free foot to push down on Pezada's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pezada.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pezada is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Pezada is breathing heavily. Ziribastow looking to finish Pezada with some ground and pound. This is bad for Pezada! Ziribastow wants to control the pace but Pezada is squirming around nicely. Ziribastow is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Pezada can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Pezada's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Pezada trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ziribastow cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Pezada in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Ziribastow dominating with strikes here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ziribastow is landing with some decent strikes but Pezada is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Ziribastow scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Pezada is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Ziribastow fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Oh Pezada is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ziribastow putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ziribastow cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Pezada takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Ziribastow's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
