Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rob Dyrdek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dyrdek comes to the cage accompanied by Dirty Girl. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Dyrdek!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Mitchell!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dyrdek shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mitchell counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dyrdek tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mitchell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Mitchell trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dyrdek controls Mitchell momentarily but Mitchell frees himself.
Mitchell drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Mitchell seems to have locked his on tight now - Dyrdek screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Mitchell, as he picks up the win!
