Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Boomberg is defended easily by Damon.
Boomberg moves forwards but Damon connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Damon moves out of range of the body kick.
Boomberg takes a swing at Damon's ribcage but misses.
Boomberg dodges the punch combination from Damon.
Damon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Damon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Damon cracks Boomberg with a good jab.

Boomberg misses the shot to the body.
Damon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boomberg circles away quickly and effectively.
Damon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A left and a right from Damon both land. Nice combination.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boomberg is trying hard to land a takedown here. Damon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Boomberg misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Boomberg with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Damon to score with a decent uppercut.
Damon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Damon lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Damon scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Damon lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Damon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Damon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Boomberg shoots in for a double leg but Damon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ron Damon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dale Boomberg.

Damon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Boomberg.
Boomberg throws a series of punches but Damon moves out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Damon catches Boomberg with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Ron Damon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Damon drops Boomberg with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Boomberg looks back up at him and smiles so Damon waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Boomberg is rocked!
Damon works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Boomberg is still on wobbly legs! Can Damon finish him?
Ron Damon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Damon connects with a nice cross there... Boomberg is looking wobbly and Damon recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Boomberg to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Damon jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
