Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Davenport (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Veneracion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davenport's entrance music is Ruff Ryders - World War III. A fine choice. Veneracion comes into a darkened arena with his song building. faint kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davenport closes this distance looking for a takedown but Veneracion circles away.
Veneracion connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Veneracion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Davenport's guard.
