Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Utah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Muir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Utah comes to the cage accompanied by Californaication by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Johnny Utah could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mike Muir's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Utah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Muir!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Utah tries to close the distance and clinch but Muir swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Muir displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Utah clinches.
Muir wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Utah has him pressed against the cage.
Utah has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Muir regains guard immediately.
Muir being controlled here, momentarily.
Utah's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Utah stops Muir from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Utah sitting in guard here, content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Muir looking for a sweep. Not yet Muir, not yet.
Utah is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Utah working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Utah drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Utah jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Utah controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Utah stands and throws Muir's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Muir is trying to get back to his feet.
Utah working the head and body with strikes.
Utah decides to stand back up.
Utah tries to clinch up.
Utah fails to land with a series of punches.
Oooh a lovely combination from Muir sends Utah down but not out. Muir dives into side control looking to finish.
Utah is rocked!
Utah is breathing heavily.
Muir trying to control the position but Utah is working away.
Oh Utah is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Muir wants to stand but Utah has his arm trapped.
Muir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Utah. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Utah taking a bit of punishment here - Muir scoring with strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Utah is trying to get back to half guard.
Muir wants to stand but Utah is controlling his arm.
Utah struggling a bit here.
Utah seems to have got his legs back now.

Utah manages to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Utah is looking to control Muir's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Utah avoid being mounted?

Muir is nestled in close to Utah, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Muir wants to get back to his feet.
Muir working Utah over with strikes.
Muir wants to stand but Utah has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Muir prevents Utah from improving his position.
Utah is working hard here to advance position.
Utah makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Utah.
Utah lands an upkick as Muir stands over him.
Utah pulls Muir in close to prevent any damage.

Muir is sitting in close to Utah's body. Utah has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Muir is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Muir is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Utah.
