Niemi comes to the cage accompanied by Parker & Clind - Generator. Gracie has chosen Wu-Tang Clan - The Mystery Of Chessboxin as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Niemi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gracie to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Niemi is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gracie showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Niemi keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
Gracie stays in close to Niemi's body and controls the position.
Gracie working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Gracie throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Niemi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Gracie wants to clinch up but Niemi keeps it at a distance.
Gracie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A telegraphed right hand from Gracie misses the target.
Niemi scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Niemi loads up on a big right hand but Gracie slips the punch.
Gracie throws a lazy right hand but Niemi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gracie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Niemi at a distance.
Gracie goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A shot to de liver by Niemi. Beautiful body shot.
Niemi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gracie to score with a decent uppercut.

Niemi keeps the fight on the outside.
Niemi scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Niemi misses the shot to the body.
Gracie takes one to the side of the head.
Niemi lands with a nice body punch.
Gracie misses with a leg kick
letting Niemi counter with a right hand.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt - Niemi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Niemi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie.
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Niemi.
Gracie lands with a kick to the temple. Niemi shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Niemi throws a jab when Gracie was well out of range.
Niemi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gracie throws the kick towards the body but Niemi avoids it.
Gracie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Niemi.

Gracie lands a nice shot to the body.
Niemi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gracie.
Niemi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gracie at a distance.
Gracie looks gassed!
The fighters circle momentarily. Niemi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gracie takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Niemi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Niemi lands a head kick. Gracie smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Niemi scores with a body shot.
Niemi lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie drops his hands momentarily and Niemi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Niemi lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Gracie falls backwards - clearly groggy! Niemi dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
