Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Abel Stamp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Abel Stamp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robert Power! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Stamp does no damage. A punch combination from Stamp misses. Stamp looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stamp throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Power. Power gets a takedown into half guard. Power missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Power is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stamp is just riding it out for now. Power eventually gives up the hold. Stamp has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Power is working away from the top position though. Stamp is staying active underneath Power, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Power takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Stamp avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Power.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stamp looking for submissions off his back. Power wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stamp keeps working. Stamp trying to hold on to Power's head to control him but Power postures up.
Stamp tries to kick Power off but Power keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Stamp trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A telegraphed right hand from Stamp misses the target. Stamp throws a right and a left that Power avoids nicely. Power dodges the punch combination from Stamp.
Stamp moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Power throws out a loose jab but Stamp uses good head movement to avoid it. Stamp scores with a one two! Power had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Stamp lands with an overhand left. Power closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stamp circles away. Stamp throws a right and a left that both miss. Power avoids a punch combination nicely.
Power is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Power scores with a takedown into Stamp's guard. Power is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stamp is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stamp has escaped and now he's on top! Power has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Stamp wants to control from the top but Power keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stamp stands up from guard. Let's bang! Power tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stamp sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Power somewhat. No joy there for Stamp, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stamp misses with a series of wild punches.
Stamp lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Power circles away quickly and effectively. Stamp misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Stamp throws a right hand that Power ducks under and follows up with a left that Power also avoids with ease. Stamp throws a right and a left that both miss. Stamp takes a swing at Power's ribcage but misses. Power is looking to clinch but Stamp is avoiding it.
Stamp throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stamp scores with a nice head shot. Stamp looks to land a combination but Power avoids it well. Power dodges the punch combination from Stamp.
Stamp throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Power. Stamp throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stamp fails to land with a series of punches.
Stamp throws a nice looking combination but Power bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Power uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stamp.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Robert Power will probably get the nod. That's time! Stamp's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Power shoots in looking for a takedown. Stamp tries to sprawl out of it but Power keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stamp manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A combination from Stamp does no damage. Stamp misses with a two punch combination.
Power tries to clinch up. Power shoots in and drives through. Stamp sprawls well. Stamp rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Power moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Power shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stamp is trying to defend but Power finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Stamp looks like he's trying to stand up.
Stamp is pressing down on Power's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Power pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stamp is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stamp is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Power defends well. Stamp wants to stand but Power is controlling the position. Stamp wants to sweep but no luck. Power throws a big right hand that misses. Stamp scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Power feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Power stands up from guard. Let's bang! Stamp throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Power. A jab from Stamp misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stamp digs a good hook to Power's body.
Stamp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Power tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stamp misses with an attempted mid kick.
A punch combination from Stamp misses. Stamp throws a nice looking combination but Power bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stamp dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Power throws out a loose jab but Stamp uses good head movement to avoid it. Stamp throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Stamp tries to bum rush Power with a series of wild strikes but Power uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stamp avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stamp throws a series of punches but Power moves out of range. Stamp fails to land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stamp displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Power. Abel Stamp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Power. Power misses with a series of wild punches.
Stamp pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Power scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Power is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stamp's half guard. Stamp missing with punches from the bottom.
Stamp works his way to full guard. Good work. Power is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Stamp is trying to keep Power in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Power drops back looking for a leg! Stamp is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stamp manages to kick Power off! Power jumps back into Stamp's guard. Power is breathing heavily. Power preventing the sweep. Stamp is pulling down on Power's head. It's preventing any offense from Power, at least for the moment. Power trying to control but Stamp is working from the bottom. Stamp has control of Power's left arm, preventing Power from doing any damage. Power stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stamp swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Power showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and Power counters with a straight right hand. Stamp swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Power counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Power is trying to control the action in half guard but Stamp is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Power is looking for a kimura here.
Stamp keeps control of the position for the meantime. Stamp wants to improve his position but Power is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stamp slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Stamp pulls Power in close to prevent any damage. Power stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stamp swivels though and keeps the full guard. Power trying to control but Stamp is working from the bottom. Robert Power has got the better of the ground game so far. Power takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Stamp wants to stand and escape but Power is having none of it. Stamp manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Stamp lands a nice hook to Power's body. Power takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Power tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A combination from Stamp does no damage. Power shoots in for a takedown but Stamp shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Stamp throws a right and a left that Power avoids nicely. A punch combination from Stamp misses. Stamp lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Power backs up against the cage.

and Power counters by clinching up. Stamp pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stamp misses with a wild body shot. Abel Stamp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick from Power lands but Stamp takes it in his stride. Power avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stamp displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Abel Stamp has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stamp misses with a wild combination.
Stamp closes the distance and lands a one-two. Power showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stamp.

Stamp dips to his left and cracks Power with an uppercut! Abel Stamp is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Horrible takedown by Power or perhaps it was just good defense by Stamp which made him look bad. Abel Stamp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Power. Stamp lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stamp misses with an uppercut. Power takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Robert Power is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Stamp throws a left and a right that both miss
and Power counters with a nice double leg into guard. Stamp throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Power trying to control but Stamp is working from the bottom. Stamp can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Power controls the pace. Stamp trying to control the position here. Power got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stamp has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Power has managed to get both his arms back between Stamp's legs - danger averted. Power looking to sit in guard and control but Stamp gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Abel Stamp. I think Power has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
