Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Post Wheat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tom Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Post Wheat!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris takes one to the side of the head.
Wheat sizes up Harris with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Harris shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Harris was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wheat really wants to buck Harris off and get back to his feet.
Harris postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Wheat looks a forlorn figure.

It looks like Post Wheat has been cut.
Wheat's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That has opened up Post Wheat's cut even more.
Harris loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Wheat scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Harris land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Harris stands and salutes the crowd.
