Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Musky Chunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Heartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chunder kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Slam. Musky Chunder had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chunder throws the left hand but Heartman avoids the punch easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Chunder counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Heartman's guard now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Heartman is looking to improve his position but Chunder isn't that keen on the idea.

Chunder is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Heartman to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Heartman shrugs it off.
Chunder is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Heartman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Heartman is desperately trying to improve his position but Chunder has a good base and remains in mount.

Heartman drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chunder looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chunder looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chunder!

Chunder is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Heartman defends it well.

Chunder seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Heartman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Chunder has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
