PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mana Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrell Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen all i do is win as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Still in half guard, Johnson seems content to control.
Silva wants to control but Johnson is keeping busy.

Silva is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johnson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johnson's back!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Silva postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Johnson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Silva, into his guard.
Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Johnson controls the pace.
Let's hope that Johnson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Terrell Johnson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Johnson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Terrell Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
