The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green looks to land a right hand but Brove moved out of range.
Brove tries to clinch up.
Green misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Green misses with a double jab.
Green throws a big shot that misses.
Green clobbers Brove with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Neil Brove has been cut.
Green fails with the takedown.
Green throws an overhand right that lands on Brove's shoulder, as Brove tries to avoid the shot.
Green throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brove's waist but Brove gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Green off to one side.

Green shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brove but Brove pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Neil Brove has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pete Green.
Brove feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Green sprawling to the canvas! Green rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Brove finish him?!
It looks like Pete Green has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brove drops Green with a big knee straight up the middle! Green is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pete Green's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Green tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Brove just stands there and leans against the cage.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pete Green's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
