Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Silva slams his shin into Makarin's torso.
Silva scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Silva tries to land a front kick but Makarin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Silva wants to clinch up but Makarin keeps it at a distance.
Silva fails to land the takedown.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Makarin shows good takedown defense.
Silva moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Makarin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Silva is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Makarin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
