Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alessio Meridio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Bradford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meridio comes to the cage accompanied by All That Reamins - The Air I Breathe. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meridio has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bradford pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Meridio has clasped his hands together around Bradford's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Bradford wants to control but Meridio postures up.
Meridio connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bradford some visible discomfort.
Meridio tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Meridio trying to control the position but Bradford is working away.

Meridio is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bradford is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Meridio is trying to get an arm triangle but Bradford is defending well.
Bradford is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Bradford tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Meridio wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Meridio working the ground and pound but Bradford is defending the strikes.
Meridio lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Bradford is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Meridio is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bradford looks calm but he's in trouble here. Meridio gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bradford is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Meridio lets go of the hold and Bradford can pop his arm back in it's socket.
