Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Swimmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederik Kraus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Swimmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frederik Kraus!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swimmer feints and as Kraus raises his hands in defense, Swimmer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kraus is on top in guard.

Swimmer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kraus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Swimmer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kraus is aware though and is defending well.

Swimmer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kraus defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Swimmer drops back looking for a leg! Kraus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kraus manages to kick Swimmer off! Swimmer jumps back into Kraus's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kraus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jack Swimmer.
I think Kraus has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
