The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malkavain uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Takana.
Takana takes a swing at Malkavain's ribcage but misses.
Malkavain takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Malkavain fails to land with a series of punches.
Takana falls off balance throwing a combination
and Malkavain counters with a nice body kick.
Takana just misses with a punch to the body.
Takana stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Malkavain.
Malkavain lands a right hook to the body.
Takana is breathing heavily.
Malkavain lands a head kick that stumbles Takana and the fighters go to the mat.
Takana is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Takana throws his legs up looking for a submission but Malkavain uses it to pass to side control.
Oh Takana is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Takana is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Takana seems to have got his legs back now.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Takana is looking to regain half guard here but Malkavain keeps moving and retains side control.
Malkavain gets to mount! Takana was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Malkavain get's back to his feet.
Takana throws a lazy body kick
and Malkavain counters with a nice uppercut.
Takana misses with the body kick
and Malkavain counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Takana! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
