The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem is looking to land body kicks.
Overeem lands with a kick to the temple. Rizzo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Excellent takedown into side control there by Rizzo.
Rizzo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Overeem knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Rizzo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Overeem has escaped the position, nice work there.
Rizzo throwing strikes but Overeem manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Overeem trying to control the position but Rizzo is working away.
Rizzo throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Rizzo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Overeem sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rizzo somewhat.

Overeem walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Rizzo drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Overeem swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Rizzo's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
