Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingsley lands a head kick!
Kingsley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kingsley shoots in for a double leg but Mimsy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mimsy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mimsy showed some decent athleticism there.
Mimsy missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Mimsy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kingsley defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mimsy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mimsy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kingsley for as long as he can get away with.
Mimsy seems to be working for a kimura but Kingsley defends the submission attempt.

Kingsley pushes Mimsy off looking to stand but Mimsy dives back in and keeps control.
Kingsley tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Mimsy has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Mimsy has control of Kingsley's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kingsley regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Kingsley is trying to reverse the position but instead Mimsy has taken his back - oops!
