Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carl Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Billy Beatdown!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beatdown swats away the attempt to clinch by Walker.

Walker shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Beatdown napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Beatdown is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Walker decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Beatdown jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Walker walks away with a smile on his face. Beatdown gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Walker is looking to take a break and control but Beatdown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Walker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Beatdown throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Beatdown has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Walker is working away from the top position though.
Walker wants to take a breather but Beatdown is having none of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Walker tries to control but Beatdown wriggling away.

Beatdown is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Beatdown turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Walker avoids a kick to the body.
Walker throws a push kick but Beatdown slaps the foot to one side.
Walker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Walker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Beatdown sprawls well initially but Walker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Walker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Beatdown moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Beatdown will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Walker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Beatdown swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A head punch on the inside from Walker fails to land.
Beatdown is pressed up against the cage. Walker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Beatdown down to the mat. Beatdown avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Walker takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Well Beatdown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
