Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Lock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Burroughs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Burroughs's choice of entrance music: Superbeast. John Burroughs will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucas Lock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Burroughs! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lock avoids the head kick by Burroughs.
The fight stays on the outside here - Burroughs looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Burroughs pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Burroughs clinches with his opponent.
Burroughs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Burroughs tries a head kick but it misses.
Burroughs throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Lock closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Burroughs to the mat! Burroughs manages to get full guard. Lock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Burroughs swivels though and keeps the full guard. Burroughs looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Lock trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lock is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lock won't allow Burroughs to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lock trying to control the position from guard on top but Burroughs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Burroughs looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lock is one step ahead there.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Burroughs misses with a takedown attempt and Lock counters with a single leg into guard. Burroughs didn't expect that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lock drops back looking for a leg! Burroughs is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Burroughs manages to kick Lock off! Lock jumps back into Burroughs's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lock passes into half guard. Lock controlling the pace. Burroughs looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lock is looking for a kimura here.

Burroughs wants to improve his position but Lock is controlling well.
Lock slows the pace down in half guard. Burroughs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Burroughs is refusing to be controlled, as Lock sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Burroughs tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Lock tries to pass the half guard into mount. Burroughs knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lock is working hard here to advance position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lock circles away from the clinch attempt.
Burroughs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Burroughs is looking to take this fight into the clinch. John Burroughs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Burroughs lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lock doesn't manage to clinch there - Burroughs circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lucas Lock dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Burroughs keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Burroughs throws a head kick that misses. Lock avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Burroughs lands with a slapping head kick. A head kick misses from Burroughs. Burroughs takes a swing at Lock's ribcage but misses. Burroughs tries a head kick but it misses.
Burroughs shoots and misses and Lock counters with a nice double leg into guard. Lock works a leg free and moves into half guard. Lock is taking a breather. Burroughs says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burroughs wants to control but Lock is keeping busy and won't allow it. Burroughs is in trouble now - Lock has advanced to mount! Burroughs is trying desperately to improve position. Lock tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Burroughs slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Burroughs is looking to control Lock's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Burroughs avoid being mounted? Lock wants to pass to mount but Burroughs is defending the position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lock in particular looking to stall. Lock is pressing down on Burroughs's thigh, looking to free his foot. Burroughs is holding on for now. Burroughs wants to improve his position but Lock is controlling well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Burroughs manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Burroughs uses the cage to get back to his feet.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lock can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Burroughs is breathing heavily. Burroughs tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lock shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Burroughs is trying to defend but Lock finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Lock is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Burroughs is just riding it out for now. Lock eventually gives up the hold. Lock has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lucas Lock dominated that second round. That's time! Lock's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Burroughs wants to clinch. Burroughs gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lock counters with a shoot takedown. Burroughs fights it but they end up in guard. Lock is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Burroughs is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Burroughs has escaped and now he's on top! Burroughs won't allow Lock to sweep him here. Lock is trying to keep Burroughs in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lock is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Burroughs frees his head nicely. Oh but Lock has switched to an armbar! Burroughs is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
