Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walder Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramsey Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramsey Wood will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Walder Head! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ramsey Wood! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wood closes the distance and clinches. Wood works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Wood trying to control but Head is working from the bottom. Wood wants to pass the guard but Head is keeping the position. Head trying to control the position here. Wood controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Wood has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. I looks like Wood might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Wood slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wood tries to move into full mount but can't pass Head's legs. Wood wants to control but Head is keeping him busy. Head prevents Wood from moving into mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Head's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Head dodges the ground and pound from Wood. Wood wants to control but Head is keeping him busy. Head seems a little lost for a moment, as Wood dominates the positioning. Head is trying to control Wood's posture but Wood avoids it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Head misses with a series of wild punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wood shoots in but no luck this time. Head jabbing away but nothing is landing. Head darts in trying to clinch and Wood counters with a single leg into guard. Head didn't expect that. Wood is stalling in the full guard. Wood loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ramsey Wood dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Head. Wood does a little dance to reset his feet. Walder Head is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A head kick by Head misses and Wood holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Wood escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wood clinches. Wood keeps control of Head as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Head tries to break free but Wood pushes him back against the cage. Head is trying to force a seperation but Wood has the dominant position. Wood lands with a right to the head. Wood pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Head throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wood counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Head's guard now. Wood trying to control the position from guard on top but Head is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wood pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Head is keeping the position for now. Wood is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wood wants to control from the top but Head keeps moving. Head is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wood is controlling him. Head on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Head tries to get out of the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wood slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Head trying to remain calm as Wood controls from the top position. Head might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wood advances nicely into full mount. Wood throws some wild stikes that Head manages to avoid easily.
Wood can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Head is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wood controlling from mount. Wood thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Wood looking to secure an arm triangle but Head defends it well. Wood looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wood breaks from Head's wrist control and lands an elbow. Wood looking to control and managing it successfully. Wood wants to control the pace but Head is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ramsey Wood showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Head throws a combination that misses and Wood counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Head swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
so Wood counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wood in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Wood trying to control but Head is working from the bottom.
Despite being in the dominant position, Ramsey Wood just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wood moves into range and clinches up with Head. Wood tries for a takedown but Head manages to get underhooks.
Wood is working for takedown but Head is calmly controlling the position for now. Wood stalling in the clinch.
Wood has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Head clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Head has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Wood. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wood has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Head's body.
Wood thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Wood missing with strikes. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Wood somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Head is trapped and Wood is scoring with shots to the head and body. Wood is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Even with his hooks in, Wood manages to miss with strikes from the back. Head is trying to defend against the choke here but Wood has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Wood Tightens the hold and Head taps out furiously! Wood displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ramsey Wood!
