Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Olivier De Troyer!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels throws a head kick but De Troyer moves out of range.
Daniels misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
De Troyer moves into the clinch successfully.
De Troyer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Daniels can't fight it off and eventually De Troyer manages to take the fight to the floor. Daniels looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Daniels is looking for a triangle but De Troyer pushes his legs off easily.
De Troyer forces his way into half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Daniels is refusing to be controlled, as De Troyer sits in half guard.
De Troyer trying to pass the guard but Daniels defending well.
De Troyer works his way into side control.
De Troyer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Daniels knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
De Troyer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Daniels keeps working.
De Troyer stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
De Troyer shoots in looking for a takedown. Daniels tries to sprawl out of it but De Troyer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Daniels manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
De Troyer shoots in for a double leg but Daniels sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Daniels fails with the takedown
and De Troyer counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Daniels!
Daniels is breathing heavily.
De Troyer breaks from Daniels's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Daniels knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for De Troyer on the ground.
De Troyer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Daniels flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
De Troyer wants to control the pace but Daniels is squirming around nicely.
De Troyer scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Daniels really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Daniels is squirming around, avoiding De Troyer's attempts to control the action.
De Troyer is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! De Troyer extends the arm and Daniels is forced to tap!
