Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antsa Sireeni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorge Santos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jorge Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antsa Sireeni! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sireeni manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Sireeni wants to get back to his feet but Santos is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Santos has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sireeni keeping full guard, as Santos tries to pass. Sireeni wants to sweep here but Santos controlling him for the moment. Santos stops Sireeni from standing up. Santos wants to control from the top but Sireeni keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Santos is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sireeni is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Sireeni looking to hit a scissor sweep but Santos is one step ahead there. Santos loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A big right from Sireeni misses. Antsa Sireeni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Santos shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Santos was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Santos is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sireeni can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Sireeni is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Sireeni blocking the ground and pound. Santos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Santos throwing strikes here but Sireeni is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Santos has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sireeni's face.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sireeni is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Sireeni tries to control Santos's body but Santos pushes him off. Sireeni squirms to his side and now Santos has his back! Santos is hanging on to Sireeni's back as he tries to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sireeni trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Santos is punishing Sireeni with strikes - can he finish him?! Sireeni has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Sireeni defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Santos misses with an elbow to the head. Sireeni is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Sireeni looks gassed! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Santos trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Santos closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Santos is looking for a kimura but Sireeni is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Santos to get the leverage. Sireeni makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sireeni. Santos tries to stand but Sireeni is controlling from the bottom. Santos is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Santos trying to control but Sireeni is working from the bottom. Sireeni should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Santos looking to pass the guard. Santos is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sireeni wants to stand up but Santos is controlling him. Sireeni being controlled here, momentarily. Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sireeni swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Santos clinches up with Sireeni and pushes him back against the cage. Santos wants to break free but Sireeni has control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sireeni is trying to break free. Sireeni has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Santos is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Santos looking to slow down the pace here. Santos keeps control of Sireeni as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Sireeni blocks a body shot from Santos. Santos drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sireeni pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The fight stays on the outside here - Santos looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sireeni lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Jorge Santos has been cut. Sireeni misses with a body shot.
Santos punishes Sireeni's body with a nice straight punch. Sireeni connects with a jab. Sireeni throws a nice looking combination but Santos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sireeni avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Santos shoots in and bounces Sireeni off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Sireeni is breathing heavily. Santos decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sireeni misses with a series of wild punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Antsa Sireeni will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Jorge Santos's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Santos. Santos takes a little break here. Sireeni wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Santos decides to take the fight back to the feet. Sireeni throws a nice looking combination but Santos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sireeni fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Sireeni swats away the attempt to clinch by Santos. Jorge Santos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sireeni waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Santos. A combination from Sireeni does no damage. Santos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sireeni's guard.

Sireeni is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Santos controlling from the top position. Santos wanted to stand there but Sireeni had control of the position. Santos looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Santos is pushing down on Sireeni's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sireeni is fighting to maintain full guard but Santos has managed to sneak the leg through. Sireeni is trying to get back to full guard. Santos is trying to control. Sireeni wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Santos controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Sireeni to stand up. Sireeni misses with a wild combination.
Santos attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Santos gets the takedown into side control. Sireeni dodges the ground and pound from Santos. Sireeni prevents Santos from moving into mount. Santos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sireeni keeps working. Sireeni is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. That's four minutes gone in the round. Sireeni wants to get back to his feet but Santos is dominant here and he's now got Sireeni's back! I would not like to be Sireeni right now.
