The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evra pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Evra is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Diarra's half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Diarra can do anything to dispel that myth.
Evra takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

That was a close round but I would say that Patrice Evra will probably get the nod.
