Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Speedy Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vern Troyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Speedy Gonzalez!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Vern Troyer!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troyer leaves Gonzalez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gonzalez throws a head kick but Troyer moves out of range.
Gonzalez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Troyer stuffs the takedown.
Gonzalez turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Troyer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Troyer misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Gonzalez is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Troyer asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
