The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mathisen Mos tries to bum rush Manolo with a series of wild strikes but Manolo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Manolo slaps away a takedown attempt from Mathisen Mos, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mathisen Mos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mathisen Mos clinches up against the cage.
Mathisen Mos tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Manolo just stands there and leans against the cage.

Mathisen Mos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Manolo walks away with a smile on his face. Mathisen Mos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Manolo has eaten all the pies!
Mathisen Mos shoots in for a takedown but Manolo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
No luck for Mathisen Mos with that takedown attempt.
Manolo wants to clinch
and Mathisen Mos moves into the clinch.

Mathisen Mos blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Mathisen Mos has Manolo pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mathisen Mos pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Manolo tumbling to the mat - Mathisen Mos dives into Manolo's guard.
Manolo is looking to stand back up but Mathisen Mos counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Manolo.
Mathisen Mos is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Manolo has managed to free his arm - good work.

Manolo is trying to stand up here but Mathisen Mos is controlling him well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mathisen Mos seems to be working for a kimura but Manolo defends the submission attempt.

Manolo pushes Mathisen Mos off looking to stand but Mathisen Mos dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Manolo is not content to let Mathisen Mos control the position.
Mathisen Mos content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Manolo is looking to escape.

That was a close round but I would say that Helge Mathisen Mos will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Manolo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mathisen Mos.
Manolo wants to clinch
and Mathisen Mos counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Manolo's guard now.
Mathisen Mos stands up and waves to Manolo to follow him.
Mathisen Mos moves into the clinch.
Mathisen Mos has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Manolo clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Manolo defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Mathisen Mos's arms.
Manolo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mathisen Mos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mathisen Mos is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Manolo is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Manolo is trying to get back to his feet but Mathisen Mos has full control of the position and if anything, Manolo has just worked his way into a worse spot.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Manolo wants to get back to his feet. He's half way up but Mathisen Mos drags him back down with a jolt, managing to get his forearm deep under Manolo 's chin! Manolo is in real trouble! His face is turning bright red and he's forced to tap! This one is all over!
