The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
friday wants to clinch up but Gabe keeps it at a distance.
Gabe throws a shot from downtown. friday moves away and avoids it.
Gabe shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Gabe decides to stand up.
friday has his takedown stuffed
and Gabe counters with a nice body shot.
friday is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gabe shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in friday's guard.
Gabe is pushing down on friday's leg trying to pass to half guard. friday is fighting to maintain full guard but Gabe has managed to sneak the leg through.
Gabe in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. friday tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gabe!
