The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele tries to bum rush pashko with a series of wild strikes but pashko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A combination from Steele does no damage.
pashko shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Steele manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Steele is looking to stand up but pashko isn't so interested in that idea.
pashko trying to control the position from guard on top but Steele is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
pashko stops Steele from standing up.
pashko wants to pass the guard but Steele is keeping the position.
Steele is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst pashko is controlling him.
pashko might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
pashko works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Steele really doesn't want to stay on the ground with pashko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
pashko is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
pashko passes to full mount!
pashko swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
