Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lasse Lapa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ja Sku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lasse Lapa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ja Sku! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sku takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Lapa shoots in and drives through. Sku sprawls well. Sku stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sku wants it to stay on the feet. A head kick from Lapa lands but Sku takes it in his stride. Sku shoots and misses and Lapa counters with a shoot takedown. Sku fights it but they end up in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back. Sku trying to strike off his back.
Lapa forces his way into half guard. Lapa wants to pass the guard but Sku is defending well. Sku strikes from the bottom but Lapa uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Sku throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Sku is looking for a sweep. Sku throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Sku throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Lapa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sku keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sku throws a few strikes from the bottom but Lapa takes advantage and mounts! Sku is looking to improve his position but Lapa isn't that keen on the idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lapa sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Lapa prevents Sku from getting the reversal. Lapa trying to control but Sku is having none of it. Sku tries to reverse the position but Lapa maintains control. Sku looks gassed! Lapa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sku is looking to escape. Lapa looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Poor strikes thrown by Lapa there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Lapa trying to control but he's not successful this time. Lapa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Sku is working to get back to half guard.
Sku flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Sku throws a strike but has given up his back in the process.

Lapa tightening his grip on Sku, looking for the choke. Sku is trying to break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lapa misses with an elbow to the head. Sku is in bad spot here.
Lapa is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Sku covering up well and avoiding damage. Sku rolls, trying to escape but Lapa keeps control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lapa throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Lapa tries to get the hooks in deep but Sku pushed the leg off. Sku tries to roll but Lapa sticks to his back.
Lapa trying to control. Lapa throwing wild punches that miss their target. Lapa is punishing Sku with strikes - can he finish him?! I would not like to be Sku right now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lasse Lapa dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sku shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lapa counters with a flying knee. Nice. Sku gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lapa counters with a single leg into guard. Sku didn't expect that. Sku being controlled here, momentarily. Sku is striking off his back. Lapa thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Sku misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Lapa wants to take a breather but Sku is having none of it. Sku punching from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sku strikes from the bottom but Lapa uses the opportunity to move to side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Lasse Lapa just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Lapa scores to the head and body with a nice combination! A slapping body kick lands there for Lapa. Sku avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sku has his takedown stuffed and Lapa decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sku's guard. Lasse Lapa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ja Sku. Lapa trying to control the position from guard on top but Sku is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lapa controlling from the top position. Sku throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Sku looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Lapa puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Lasse Lapa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sku throws a strike from the bottom but Lapa passes into side control!
Lapa slips into full mount, dodging the strikes by Sku. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sku can do anything to dispel that myth. Lapa blocks Sku's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Sku tries to improve his position but instead Lapa has taken his back! Will Lapa go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Lapa misses with punches from the back. Lapa doesn't have the hooks in and Sku manages to turn into his guard.
Sku connects with a couple of short punches. Lapa is trying to control the position but Sku postures up. Lapa preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lapa is looking to sinch up a triangle. Sku throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lapa's body to avoid the submission. Lapa has instead reached around Sku's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lapa arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Lasse Lapa!
