The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasiliev shoots in looking for a takedown. Romanoff tries to sprawl out of it but Vasiliev keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Romanoff manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Victor Romanoff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Romanoff tries for a takedown but Vasiliev circles away easily
and Vasiliev counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Romanoff tries to roll over but Vasiliev keeps him under control.
