Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sotomayor waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Darnielle.
Sotomayor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sotomayor tries to clinch but Darnielle is having none of it.
Sotomayor steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Darnielle. That one must have hurt.
Darnielle wants to clinch.
Darnielle connects with a solid leg kick.
Darnielle throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sotomayor misses with a straight right.
Darnielle takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Sotomayor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Darnielle.
Darnielle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Darnielle lands a head kick. Sotomayor smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Bruno Sotomayor has been cut.
Sotomayor fails in his attempt to clinch.
Darnielle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Darnielle doesn't manage to clinch there - Sotomayor circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Darnielle looks to score with a jab to the body but Sotomayor is just out of range.
Sotomayor swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Darnielle counters with a head kick. That will keep Sotomayor thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Sotomayor darts in trying to clinch
and Darnielle counters with a slapping leg kick.
Sotomayor throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Darnielle sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Darnielle counters with an outside leg kick.
Sotomayor throws a sloppy body shot
and Darnielle counters with a huge head kick that drops Sotomayor! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
