Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Deep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Windham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Deep! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Barry Windham! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deep fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Windham scores with a takedown into Deep's guard. Windham tries to free his leg and advance position but Deep is retaining full guard. Deep is trying to control the position but Windham postures up. Windham wants to pass the guard but Deep is keeping the position. Windham avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Windham drops back, looking for a kneebar! Deep looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Deep looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Deep! Windham wants to control but Deep postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Windham looks to move to half guard but instead Deep has passed into mount! Damn! Windham tries to reverse the position but Deep maintains control. Windham wants to get back to his feet.
Windham wants to hold on but Deep pushes him away. Deep prevents Windham from getting the reversal. Windham wants to control but Deep is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Windham bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Windham looking to pass the guard. Windham postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Deep is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Windham, into his guard. Windham looking for a guillotine here but Deep defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Windham has his foot on Deep's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Deep works his way back into a safe position though. Windham looking for a guillotine here but Deep defends easily.
Deep scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Windham keeping moving, preventing Deep from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Deep seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Windham looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Deep passes into side control.
Windham manages to get back to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Windham looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Windham looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Barry Windham dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Windham fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Deep avoids it really well and circles away. Good work by Windham as he checks the leg kick. Windham shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Windham wants to pass the guard but Deep is defending well. Deep is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Windham is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Windham moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Deep has worked his arm free - good work by Deep!
Windham is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Deep looks calm but he's in trouble here. Windham gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Deep is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Windham lets go of the hold and Deep can pop his arm back in it's socket.
